If you watched last nights game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Redskins you witnessed two things. Seattle is good and Russell Wilson is really good. The guy is a winner and shows it on the field. He doesn’t get over animated or down on anything. He just goes out there and plays the game. He finds his receivers and he make plays with his legs all day long. We loved Seattle in this game, on the road. Although the Redskins kept it somewhat close, the game was dominated on both sides of the ball by Seattle. If the Hawks can eliminate the penalty mistakes in games, there is no stopping them from a repeat.
The baseball playoffs are in full swing. We’ve seen two teams already sweep their series entering into the ALCS. The Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City Royals will meet in Baltimore on Friday. This should be a high scoring affair throughout. It will take a lot of pitching to pick a winner.
As for the NL, we have a story of potential comeback and a team on the cusp. St. Louis Cardinals pulled out the win last night giving them the 2-1 lead in the series. They have one more home game before they would have to head back to LA. They could get it done tonight. We like the Dodgers on the Moneyline in this game. The other series has the San Francisco Giants leading the Washington Nationals 2-1. This has been a pretty tight series with some serious pitching. The Nats have the pitching advantage tonight, so it does favor them going back to DC for game 5. If the Nats get the bats rolling there is no stopping them. We like the Nationals on the moneyline.
Good luck and remember to check back often for more picks.
