We’ll kick things off with our picks from the other day. It turns out we were more than right about Tampa Bay. We liked the situation here and they got it done by getting their first win. Not only were they the underdog, they actually controlled this whole game. Miami wasn’t really ready to play football after such an awful media week.
We had several NBA picks on Monday night that worked out including the Spurs vs. the Sixers and the Bulls vs. the Cavaliers. Both games were blowouts in our favor.
The hockey game of the night was between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Boston Bruins. Not only did Tampa Bay lose 3-0, they lost their best player in Steven Stamkos. This will really hurt their chances going forward.
As for today, we have several games in play including the NFL Thursday game between the Indianapolis Colts visiting the Tennessee Titans. This game last week looked like a tough one for both teams and now it’s surely the case. Both teams are coming of terrible loses. The Titans lost to the Jaguars and the Colts got destroyed by the Rams. Fluke games do happen. However, the Colts will bring it together and win this game. Currently they are 3 point favorites on the road. Assuming their defense does a better job this week they should hold off a Titans team that is still trying to figure out where they are going this season.
One College game tonight that we like is Clemson at home against Georgia Tech. Take Clemson at -11. They should be able to finish this off early.
In the NBA we always have some games available for you. Our picks have been really good as of late. Thursday carries two games. The first is between the Houston Rockets and New York Knicks. We do like the Knicks at home -2.5. We think they get some momentum going into the weekend. Our second game is Oklahoma City Thunder visiting the Warriors. We are taking the road team and the 4.5 points.
In the NHL we have a couple of games for you. We just wrote a big article on how to bet NHL games. It may help you get a better understanding of what the lines mean and more. We kick things off with the travelling Ducks. They come to Tampa and are at -115. No Stamkos will give the Ducks the victory. We are also looking at the Chicago Blackhawks at home. We will ride their energy at home at -200. The Sharks and Canucks can score at will. We are taking the over 5 goals. This could be a real high scoring game.
We do have some World Cup playoff action tonight as well. These teams are trying to fight there way into the World Cup. We think Portugal gets it done against Sweden. They are -155 or you could go -1(+115). Either way we think there will be some scoring in this one.
France and the Ukraine are in a pickem situation. We are taking France at +130. We are not sure what kind of scoring will take place, but France should be able to finish off the Ukraine.
Tomorrow we will have all of our weekend picks. This will include all kinds of action so be ready.
