There is plenty of action today and tonight for August 14, 2013. We had some nice plays yesterday that worked out really well. Although our Angels play didn’t work out like we expected, the Newell’s Old Boys got it done yesterday. The closing money line on this Argentina Primera bet was +330. This definitely made up for the Yankees defeat. Also, it took the full game for the Nationals to get it done, but they won by two which covered the spread and the moneyline. Our picks today should be interesting as well.
Today’s Baseball Action
After suffering a tough loss yesterday the Pirates are looking to bounce back. They have the night game and it has live betting at Bovada. Two good teams with their top pitchers hit the field. It’s hard to go against the Cards at home. The Pirates are in a bit of a downward spiral so we like the Cardinals at -1.5(+180). The moneyline is decent at -118. All of these lines are subject to change, but it should get you off to a nice night.
The other baseball game we like is happening in a couple of hours. It’s a day game at Wrigley field. This is another live betting game, so it should produce some action. The Reds have been a bit streaky lately, but this is the time they turn it up. We are taking the better team in this one at -1½ (+130). Althought Chicago is at home, Cincinnati is a tough team to beat. It will of course come down to pitching, but some big bats could open this game up quickly, making this a fast win for Baseball bettors.
Our Soccer Pick of the Day
Yesterday we picked a nice winner which paid off beautifully. Today is a different story. This is a International Youth – U21 Internationals between Portugal and Switzerland. Portugal is favored in this one with a line at -1 (+110). We like it a lot, although it appears the books see the money on both side. We like Portugal soccer and they should win by 2 or more. Although this is the youth clubs, it should still produce some action.
One Horse Racing Pick Today
Del Mar Horse Betting in the 7th. This race is shaping up to be a good one. We do like the 2/7/8. This is in no particular order so you may box an exacta or even a Trifecta. If you do decided to bet this race please make sure you try to get in late in case there is some big moves or scratches. This race doesn’t kick off until 8:10pm Eastern Standard time. There are plenty of other races happening today, but this one is the best of the day and should pay the most.
