Monday Night Football Bets

This weekend was one of the biggest betting weekends of the year. The first real week of Football kicked off with a bang on Thursday. We took a
defeat in that Broncos game by a lot. It was a complete debacle. There were a couple of upsets yesterday, but there definitely could have been more. We mentioned the Patriots visiting the Bills. This was obviously too many points to give at home for the first game of the year. The Bills didn’t look that great, but the Patriots didn’t either. They got it done in last minute fashion once again.

Our college pick of the weekend played out real nice between Hawaii visiting Oregon State getting +27. They were able to keep it way below that. We had a pretty poor NFL Sunday betting. Maybe it was first week jitters, but we’ll turn things around starting tonight. The Cowboys bet is the one that played out for us and that will lead us into Monday Picks.

We have a couple of NFL games on tap tonight. The NFL likes their primetime and we kick off with the Philadelphia Eagles at +3.5 visiting the NFC East Champs at FedEx field. This could turn into a major shootout and although we like the over the most we do like Robert Griffin III at home at -3.5. 52.5 is a big number to pass, but these two offenses are very capable of accomplishing that task. Both Michael Vick and Griffin have something to prove.

The second game which comes much later is between the Houston Texans visiting the San Diego Chargers. Houston is sizing up to be pretty good this year, but if Antonio Gates is healthy the the Chargers can stay in this game. We’ll take the Chargers at home getting +5. Home team with the points is a strong bet in a lot of ways. If Arian Foster is healthy and gets going this bet can totally backfire real early.

Our Monday baseball bet for the day is on the New York Yankees Moneyline +120 visiting the Orioles. The Yanks have C.C. Sabathia on the mound and he has won us the past couple of wagers. This is a live betting game, but the Yanks could pull this off.

We have a pretty epic battle on the tennis courts tonight. Finally some realistic moneyline bets. This match is between Nadal and Djokovic. After watching our guy Wawrinka almost pull off the huge upset, we have to put our money on Nadal. At -155, you can expect a heated match, but the money should come your way by the end. This event kicks off at 5pm Eastern, so get your bets in.

Our next football bet will be on Thursday, so be on the look out for that one as well. If you have any questions let us know.
