Let’s Rock this Weekend

We had a so so day yesterday and we plan to make up for it in this weekend action. We saw multiple injuries occur yesterday in the Buffalo vs. Cleveland game which led to a lopsided finish. Both baseball games were blowouts and fortunately for us we were able to take advantage of it in one game.

What happens this weekend is up in the air, but we have our favorite picks starting with Baseball, then college football and then we’ll go over the NFL games that are taking place on Sunday.

We have a ton of baseball going on with the playoff series kicking in full swing.

We start in St. Louis where the Pirates are trying to redeem themselves after a debacle yesterday. Unfortunately for them, we think the Cardinals may sweep the Pirates if their bats keep clicking. Take the Card at -140.

The first game between Tampa Bay and Boston gets going today. The Rays are hot and we think they steal this game in Boston. Take the +130.

The second game between the Braves and the Dodgers starts this evening. Look for some redemption from the Braves. We think they use the home field and beat the Dodgers. Take the -110.

The final game of the night is in Oakland where the Tigers come to town to take on the Athletics. Who has a better pitcher tonight. This is up in the air. Ride the A’s today and the Tigers tomorrow at +110.

Saturday is going to have plenty of college football action and we are ready to pounce. We had a 7-1 weekend last time and we’re hoping that continues this week.

To get things rolling we like two teams that are really good against the spread, but 16.5 points is a lot. Maryland comes to Florida State and Maryland is 4-0. They look really good as well. We are taking the points in this one.

Should we touch the Alabama vs. Georgia State game. The issue here is not only the 54 point spread, but do the 3rd stringers come in and let Georgia State score. This could be 51-0 by the end. 54 points is 8 TD’s. Whatever, we’re taking the Tide.

We like Miami at home all year so far and this time against Georgia Tech we think they get it done once again. They are -6 and should take care of business.

We like LSU coming into Mississippi State. They are 10 point favorites, but should be able to pull this off by halftime if they can score early.

Let’s get into some Sunday plays and we have some good ones.

St. Louis at home is pretty good and although they are giving the Jaguars 12 we still think they cover. Take the Rams and consider the over as well.

How do you not take the points at home when it’s the Colts. However, they are against the tough Seattle Seahawks. It’s all about the points here. Take the 3 points and ride them at home.

Our next play is on the over in the Packers vs. Lions game. How does this not go over 54 points. We do like the Pack at home, but -7 is a bit steep. We’ve been wrong about the Lions before.

The final game of the day is on the Denver Broncos. Don’t change what’s not broken. Take the Broncos on the road giving 9. The Cowboys may be able to stay in it in the first half, but the defensive backs for the Cowboys won’t be able to keep up.

All in all we have several picks for you this weekend. Play smart and pick and choose which sounds best. Don’t be afraid to hedge your bets with a little parlay action as well. Find your winner and put the odds in your favor.
