Having a Good Thursday Leading into the Weekend

We didn’t have a ton of picks last night, but the ones we chose played out perfectly. We had three picks and they were all winners. This helps us gear up for the weekend on a positive note.

We felt the Seahawks were the better team by far. We took them -7 and they ended up winning 34-22, covering the spread perfectly. We also mentioned teasing the Seahawks and the over which was 41. If you did this you would have won the tease as well by a mile. Either way Seattle was the play and we were on them.

The Boston Red Sox got it done early and won outright 4-3 with a +105. They now take their lead back home and should be able to finish off the Detroit Tigers on their home field. Not sure if we’ll have this pick for you, but we are riding the Sox.

Our one NHL game last night was between the interstate rivalry of the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. the Philadelphia Flyers. We spoke the moneyline and the spread which paid +175. Had you taken all three of these bets you would have a great day for sure.

We’ll talk about a couple of picks tonight and the rest will be about College football and NFL football.

We’ve been riding the St. Louis Cardinals for some time now and here is there chance to shine. They will take down the Dodgers tonight at +123. Pitching is back in play, but one of them will falter and give up some runs. We like the Cards tonight.

In hockey we are riding the Anaheim Ducks once again at home. They are playing the Phoenix Coyotes and they’ll maybe win on the spread as well. Take the -150 moneyline.

Let’s get into the weekend betting action. We’ll kick things off with College football of course. We are now in the meat of the schedule and games should be less lopsided than the first few weeks. Look for good rivalry games and more.

Memphis isn’t very good and neither is SMU, but in this game we think SMU getting 3.5 on the road should work out. Not a powerhouse game, but playable none the less.

Texas A&M at home is one of the toughest teams to beat. They are giving 14 points to Auburn, but we think they blow this one out of the water. Take the Aggies.

Michigan is coming off a terrible loss to Penn State and they are now playing Indiana. They are at home and giving 10 points. We’ll take the Wolverines in this one.

Washington has suffered a couple of setbacks and should be able to turn this around against Arizona State. They are getting 3.5 which helps their cause.

Ohio State is giving Iowa a lot of points. They are coming off a bye and they are at home. Iowa always plays them tough. We think we take the 18 points and ride Iowa.

Let’s get into our pro picks. There are several nice plays this weekend including the one we had last night.

We think the Patriots continue to get it done on the road in New York when they face the Jets. They are giving points on the road, but Gronk will help get some TD’s versus field goals. Take the Pats -4.

The Washington Redskins are getting one point at home against the Bears. This is a team that will put up points as well as give up. We like the over 50 in this one and we are taking the Redskins.

We were surprised to see the Panthers such big favorites against the Rams. We like the Rams getting +7 on the road. They may lose, but they should be able to hang with the Panthers.

Other teams we like include Kansas City -7, Packers -10 even without Cobb, and the Denver Broncos at -7 in Indianapolis on Sunday night.

Good luck this weekend and may your odds be in your favor.
