Let’s get off to a strong start. Soccer was in full swing yesterday and our pick of the day came through big time. AC Milan took down Celtic. This was paying -225, so you had to put up some extra cash to make some money.
The Baltimore Orioles got it done late yesterday. This was a big win for them against the Boston Red Sox. Our baseball play of the day was on Atlanta. They were trying to not get swept by the Nationals. In the end it worked out really well for Braves bettors.
The Tour Championship kicks off today, so make sure you check out our picks from yesterday.
As for today we have a couple events to talk about. First we will make our NFL Thursday pick then we’ll move into our Baseball and Soccer picks.
We get things rolling with the Kansas City Chiefs coming into Philadelphia. Interesting enough, this game has a lot of meaning. Do the Eagles beat their old coach at home, do they cover or do they lose straight up. We do like the Eagles. The Chiefs are riding high, but on a short week we think the Chiefs put up a good game, but the Eagles should cover the -3.5(-105) spread. Currently 51 is the over/under. We actually like the under in this. If the Chiefs can stop Vick there is no way this game is going to 51 points. Yes there will be some scores, but we think it ends 24-17. We’ll have the rest of our NFL picks tomorrow.
Since the NFL plays on Thursday night you almost forget about College football. We have a decent game on tonight when Clemson doesn’t travel that far to face North Carolina State. The Number three Tigers have put up some points this season so far and we think it continues tonight to cover the -14.5 point spread.
Our Soccer pick of the day is from the UEFA Europa League. We like Tottenham Hotspur in this match against Tromso. They are -1200 on the moneyline or -2.5(-120). We think this game gets out of hand with a 5-1 victory. We like the over of 3 goals as well.
Our baseball picks start to get more intense as the season moves ahead. St. Louis Cardinals are hot, but we like the Colorado Rockies at home. They are getting +1.5. We will take this and walk away.
The next baseball play is on Gio Gonzalez. We like the -1.5 in this game against the Miami Marlins. Although Strasburg was supposed to pitch Gio is stepping in for the Nationals. This game could get ugly.
