Finding Some Weekend Picks

We made the usual picks yesterday and we were about half right. We got the World Series game right, but we should have known how bad Tampa Bay was. They didn’t look good at all. The line was too deep at home not to chance it. Wacha and the Cardinals got it done for sure. That made out night pretty good. Cardinals know how to rally.

We have a lot to go over when it comes to this weekends picks. We’ll start with tonight and go from there.

We have to start with Hockey. We have several games on tap starting with the Pittsburgh Penguins at home on a Friday night. This is almost a guarantee win. We are riding them and the -210.

Colorado Avalanche has been playing some real good hockey and they should be able to cruise in this one. Take the -200, but consider the -1.5(+155).

We are taking the Cardinals again; now at home on Saturday night. No line has been set, but we are thinking -133. Be ready to jump on the early number.

Let’s get into some College Football action. We actually have one game tonight. This has Boise State written all over it. Both teams are decent, but the Broncos should be able to get it done +7 against BYU.

We think Miami gets it done clean at home at -24.

We liked SMU last week and we like them again at home at -14 against Temple.

Look for Alabama to roll by Tennessee at home at -28. Seems like a lot, but the Tide can get it done quick.

Oregon is -24, can you say thank you. Even against UCLA, they are poised to put up huge numbers. Take the Ducks.

Baylor giving 35.5 on the road is crazy. We think they win, but not by that much in Kansas. Take the points at home.

The game of the week is Penn State travelling to Ohio State. We wish the line was larger, but we have to take Ohio State at -15. It will be close in the first half, but then it will change in the Buckeyes favor in the second half.

Now for our NFL picks. We are almost midway through. Time is flying.

San Francisco gets it done in Jacksonville. Take the 49ers on the road at -15.5.

Giants got off the schnied last week, but they are now travelling to Philadelphia where both teams are struggling. We see the Eagles winning this one at -6.

We like Kansas City a lot at -9 against the Browns. Cleveland is on a downward spiral.

Gronk is back and so are the Pats at home against the Dolphins. Take the -7 at home and move on.

We think the Jets make a game of this one in Cincinnati. Take the 7 points on the road.

Washington is getting 14 points in Denver. Ya, we are on the Broncos -14. Take the over 58 as well.

Our final pick is the Packers on the road in Minnesota. We like Rodgers tearing the vikings up at -10.

We’ll be back on Monday to go over picks and more fun betting things. Have a great weekend.
