Shaky World Series Opening and More

Yesterday was an interesting day. It almost looked fixed. If you saw any of the World Series Game 1, you saw how this game was thrown (no pun intended). It was terrible for St. Louis. However, we think they get back in the groove tonight. Boston definitely holds the momentum, but we’ll see tonight.

We won one of the two hockey games, but we took down all three soccer games yesterday. Manchester United and Manchester City both won their games. We took Real Madrid as well who came in with a 2-1 victory. Each of these games were fairly tight in the end.

As for today’s picks we do have a few. We’ll start with game 2 of the world series and go from there.

The St. Louis Cardinals looked like crap yesterday all around. This doesn’t mean they threw in the towel, they are just not in sync at the moment. We are ready to double up on the Cardinals behind pitcher Michael Wacha. He will set the team straight and even up the series. Take the Cardinals +110. [Read more…]

Hump Day is Betting Day

We’re going to get things started with our football pick from Monday night. We told you the Giants were ready to get off the bench and pull out a win. Minnesota didn’t using Adrian Peterson for some reason and they left the ball in Josh Freeman’s hands. Man, did he look terrible. His face during the game seemed totally confused. He couldn’t hit open targets all night. This was an easy win for sports bettors who follow our picks.

We are creating a new YouTube Channel that will carry picks on video. This will be a pretty simple channel going over our picks for the day or the weekend. It should be interesting to see what kind of following we get. Be ready for some fun picks. [Read more…]

Another Week of Sports Betting

The weekend is over and you either had a good/bad or breakeven kind of moment. We did fairly well all around. We didn’t take a ton of bets, but we finished above breakeven.

Our pick on Friday in the NLCS played out really well when the Cardinals got it done easily paying +123 on the moneyline. The World Series kicks off on Wednesday and you can be sure we’ll have a good bet for you. We also had a hockey bet on the Anaheim Ducks that worked out as well. These two winners got our weekend going just like Thursday. [Read more…]

Having a Good Thursday Leading into the Weekend

We didn’t have a ton of picks last night, but the ones we chose played out perfectly. We had three picks and they were all winners. This helps us gear up for the weekend on a positive note.

We felt the Seahawks were the better team by far. We took them -7 and they ended up winning 34-22, covering the spread perfectly. We also mentioned teasing the Seahawks and the over which was 41. If you did this you would have won the tease as well by a mile. Either way Seattle was the play and we were on them.

The Boston Red Sox got it done early and won outright 4-3 with a +105. They now take their lead back home and should be able to finish off the Detroit Tigers on their home field. Not sure if we’ll have this pick for you, but we are riding the Sox. [Read more…]

Thursday Pre Party Before the Weekend Action

We hit some winners and losers yesterday in the betting world. You can say that things haven’t been perfect. However, we are way above 50% and we’ll continue to find some solid action. Remember, when betting on sports you are looking to keep the long term average up.

We were thinking closeout games yesterday and it just seems like the baseball gods wanted the series to continue. The major thing we got right yesterday was the over on both games. We knew the hits were coming. Both baseball games combined for 20 runs. This was actually broken down to 10 each. [Read more…]

Finding Some Daily Picks

We had a really good pick on the Chargers on Monday night. We liked them at home getting points. It seems like the three times at home they’ve gotten points they either have won or kept it super tight. We’re pretty sure the sportsbooks may not give them points at home anymore. They know how to step up for those games. If the Chargers have points at home you may want to consider it.

For today we have a couple of baseball and Hockey games.

The first pitch of the day is between the Cardinals and the Dodgers. We think the series ends here. The Cardinals go in for the kill at +155. They have the momentum and it looks like they finish this off. In baseball this happens a lot. You would think the Dodgers rally, but the steam is gone. Take the Cards. [Read more…]

Rocking the Weekend Up and Down

The weekend got off to a fast start when the Cardinals took down the Dodgers at home. This had us up right from the get go. Unfortunately we didn’t fair to well in college football. There were a ton of out right upsets and we were on the wrong side of several. The good news is, we did fairly well in the NFL picks and the USA soccer pick, which pretty much brought us above break even. We strive to be over 50% of course. [Read more…]

Finish the Week with Some Wins

We are going to make this pretty simple and just make picks. We do have one thing to go over first. Last night’s NFL game between the New York Giants and Chicago Bears worked out really well. We took the Giants although they haven’t looked very good. They were able to take the eight points and use it by only losing by six. Works for us. Eli Manning is struggling.

Let’s get down to business. We’ll start with some baseball, then some college football and finish off with a little NFL action.

Does Joe Kelly get it done against the Dodgers at home tonight. Yes he does. Take the +120 and the home field.

Let’s get into some Saturday College action.

Texas has a lot of things wrong with them. We are taking Oklahoma at -14. [Read more…]

Let’s Find Some Bets

It’s time we find some solid bets for the middle of the week. There was some decent action on Monday which we plan to go over first. Hopefully you caught some of our picks over the past few days.

We’ll kick things off with the Monday night Football play. The Falcons have not been playing that well and the Jets have. Taking 10 points was a no brainer here. They not only fulfilled the bet they won the game. They were +400. That’s a solid payout if you were willing to take it. If the Falcons don’t get busy on defense soon, they will be in a lot of trouble. [Read more…]

Don’t Grumble Because It’s Monday

We had a pretty interesting weekend. We were able to stay above 500 and our USA President Cup win helped keep our weekend in check.

We’ve been talking about the Miami Hurricanes all season. Although it is early, we are seeing this football season go pretty quick. The Hurricanes got it done in a hurry. Our other major pick was on the Tigers of LSU. They were 10 point favorites and they blew this out of the water by 20 with a 33 point win on the road. This helped make our Saturday much nicer.

The Rams were favored by 12 over the Jaguars and we just had to take them. They ended up winning by two scores which made everything go pretty well the rest of the day. The Colts took care of the Seahawks at home getting points. They won outright which made our day that much better. We weren’t too sure what happened to the Broncos defense, but they weren’t able to stop Tony Romo. Looks like this may be the strategy. Score a lot of points and hope the other team doesn’t.
